To develop new childrens home provision to meet the needs of complex children across the county, this will consist of a 6 bedded home in Selby and a cluster of 3, 2 bedded homes in the Northallerton area. |

Having considered the above factors, there will be no significant impact on any area of developing a new Childrens home.
The children who will be moving to the new Childrens home are already being accommodated currently within North Yorkshire, either within another Childrens home or with their families.
Any staff will be employed by North Yorkshire and will fall under equal opportunities recruitment and all equalities policies. |
